                           What's Thomas Fisher Rare Book Library

A cording to the University of Toronto. It is the home of the University of Toronto's Department of Rare Books and Special Collections and the University of Toronto Archives and Records Management Services. It is Canada's largest rare book library and its holdings include books, manuscripts, digital special collections and other materials covering a broad range of subjects, as well as official records of the University.
Annually, thousands of scholars from around the world, students and visitors come to this iconic location on the St.George campus of the University to research,study and attend lectures and exhibitions.
The Library has become the largest and most diverse cultural resource of its kind in Canada. The particular strengths of its collections include Canadian history and literature, English literature, Italian literature, European philosophy, and the history of science and medicine from the Renaissance to the twentieth century. These collections are well know throughout the academic world and are intensively
