IEP Conference

I couldn't go to the IEP Conference. I read Manal's blog, and I spoke about the Conference with Iman. They told me that it was usefull for newcomers, because they spoke about Healt Care and Communication. They also spoke about Finance and Accounting. At lunch time all my friends gathered and took some photos. If newcomers are looking for a job this would be usefull for them.

What I Did This Weekend?

My weekend has been a very good time.
On Friday after the visit to the University of Toronto my brother picked me up, and we went to Mississauga to visit his client. We came back at 6:30p.m.On Friday night, my husband went to his soccer; after dinner my son and I watched a comedy show so we slept at 10:00p.m.
On Saturday, we woke up very early to go buy a new car to surprise my husband for his birthday, after that we went to the sports bar to watch soccer.
On Sunday, I woke up very early, because we had a few guests for dinner. I cooked Persian food, and cleaned my house, I vacuumed and dusted. I did some home work about Friday's trip.
On Monday, I woke up and opened the curtains in my bedroom, I saw a lot of snow. I turned on the T.V, and heard news that school buses couldn't come on the road, due to that we stayed at home. I did some homework, then we shoveled snow, then I played with my son in the snow.We had a great time.

I hope everyone had a wonderful long weekend!!
Finally, I want say thanks a lot to Sonya because I learned how to write my story about the weekend.
Bye!

My friends and I met at the Don Mills Subway Station at 9:30 a.m. Unfortunately, the train was moving very slowly because the weather not good and the rails were slippery. We arrived at the University of Toronto at 10:45 a.m and met our teacher and classmates. This was the first time we visited the  Thomas Fisher Rare Book Library. Visiting there was a new experience for me and very interesting. I saw more than a thousand  hand-made books about science and  by famous authors.

Thank you Joseph for  interfusing us to the library.

The video, Marnie Hall talked about how can writing a cover letter.

What's a Cover Letter?
A cover letter is a written way of introducing yourself. It usually accompanies a resume or another kind of business letter.

Writing a Cover Letter

Cover letter are easy to  write if we think of them as being in three parts. There's

An opening section
A middle section
A closing section
However, make sure that you include:
Name
Address
Date
At the top of the letter, and underneath that, include the recipient's name, business name, address before a salutation,

Extra Tips for Writing a Cover Letter
 A couple of extra tips:
Be sure that when you're writing a cover letter, that you write to someone specifically. For example, if you're inquiring about a job interview, write to the person directly in charge of hiring. Also, always make sure to sign your letter. It looks very unprofessional if you don't.

I'm learning about that but unfortunately, or fortunately, I don't need the job here. But appreciate for helping us.

                         A Story About A Nightmare

Last night my son asked me have you had nightmares?
I told him this story...

One day, my friends and I went to the jungle to pick some raspberries. During that trip we had fun.
Suddenly,we saw a group of horsemen. We were very excited to see them. They came to us and we ran fast, but they had horses so they were faster. While we were scared and crying. The oldest man of the group came to us and said,"Calm down, he is a prince". So, we immediately bowed down to him. Then, the prince said,"Which one of you wants to volunteer to come with us"?Every one be came quite. One man pointed at me and asked,"Do you want to volunteer"?I told him I can't, my parents are old and they need me to help them. While I was crying, one of the soldiers grabbed me from the back and dragged me towards them. Suddenly, my mom opened my bedroom door and woke me up.
"Get up honey, you're going to be late for school".she said.I realized it was only a night mare.

Tonight I study at home about  SENTENCES:

Sentence:It's a group of words that expresses a complete thought.

A sentence fragment is a group of words that does not express a complete thought. A sentence fragment which might be clear in conversation, is not clear in writing. Always write in complete sentences.

While writing, a sentence always begins with a capital letter and always ends with a punctuation mark: a period, question mark or an exclamation mark.

Types of Sentences:

1. Declarative sentence: states a fact.

2. Interrogative sentence: asks a question and ends with a question mark.

3. Exclamatory sentence: expresses a strong emotion.

4. Imperative sentence: makes a request or gives an order.

Hopefully I will be with them for the next trip.
Joseph is one of the best teachers who I've ever had Zahra said. I am thinking the same way.
